अथ सात्त्विकाः, यथा पद्यावल्याम् (१८१) —
कामं वपुः पुलकितं नयने धृतास्रे
वाचः स-गद्गद-पदाः सखि कम्पि वक्षः ।
ज्ञातं मुकुन्द-मुरली-रव-माधुरी ते
चेतः सुधांशु-वदने तरलीकरोति ॥३.५.१५॥atha sāttvikāḥ, yathā padyāvalyām (181) —
kāmaṃ vapuḥ pulakitaṃ nayane dhṛtāsre
vācaḥ sa-gadgada-padāḥ sakhi kampi vakṣaḥ |
jñātaṃ mukunda-muralī-rava-mādhurī te
cetaḥ sudhāṃśu-vadane taralīkaroti ||3.5.15||
English translation
Sāttvika-bhāvas, from Padyāvalī [181]:
“O moon-faced friend! Seeing Your body with hairs standing on end, Your choked voice and trembling chest, I can understand that the sound of Kṛṣṇa’s flute has melted Your heart.”
