The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.5.11; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र कृष्ण-रतिर्, यथा श्री-गीत-गोविन्दे (३.१) —
कंसारिर् अपि संसार-वासनाबद्ध-शृङ्खलाम् ।
राधाम् आधाय हृदये तत्याज व्रज-सुन्दरीः ॥३.५.१०॥tatra kṛṣṇa-ratir, yathā śrī-gīta-govinde (3.1) —
kaṃsārir api saṃsāra-vāsanābaddha-śṛṅkhalām |
rādhām ādhāya hṛdaye tatyāja vraja-sundarīḥ ||3.5.10||

कृष्ण’स् रति, fरोम् गीत-गोविन्द:
“Wहेन् राधा लेfत् थे अरेन ओf थे रास दन्चे ओउत् ओf प्रिदे, कृष्ण गवे उप् थे ओथेर् बेऔतिfउल् wओमेन् अन्द् लेfत् थे अरेन, थिन्किन्ग् ओन्ल्य् ओf राधा wहो wअस् बोउन्द् उप् ब्य् थे छैन्स् ओf थे हिघेस्त् लोवे.”
अथ उद्दीपनाः —
उद्दीपना इह प्रोक्ता मुरली-निस्वनादयः ॥३.५.११॥Kṛṣṇa’s rati, from Gīta-govinda:
“When Rādhā left the arena of the rāsa dance out of pride, Kṛṣṇa gave up the other beautiful women and left the arena, thinking only of Rādhā who was bound up by the chains of the highest love.”atha uddīpanāḥ —
uddīpanā iha proktā muralī-nisvanādayaḥ ||3.5.11||
English translation
Uddīpanas:
“In madhura-bhakti-rasa, the uddīpanas are the sound of the flute and other similar items.”
