The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.82; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

आहुक-प्रभृतीनां तु प्रीतिर् वात्सल्य-मिश्रिता ।
जरद्-आभीरिकादीनां वात्सल्यं सख्य-मिश्रितम् ॥३.४.८२॥

āhuka-prabhṛtīnāṃ tu prītir vātsalya-miśritā |
jarad-ābhīrikādīnāṃ vātsalyaṃ sakhya-miśritam
||3.4.82||

English translation

Ugrasena and others have dāsya, mixed with some vatsala. Aged gopīs have vatsala mixed with sakhya.”
