अथ शैशव-चापलम् —
पारीर् भिनत्ति विकिरत्य् अजिरे दधीनि
सन्तानिकां हरति कृन्तति मन्थ-दण्डम् ।
वह्नौ क्षिपत्य् अविरतं नव-नीतम् इत्थं
मातुः प्रमोद-भरम् एव हरिस् तनोति ॥३.४.३९॥atha śaiśava-cāpalam —
pārīr bhinatti vikiraty ajire dadhīni
santānikāṃ harati kṛntati mantha-daṇḍam |
vahnau kṣipaty avirataṃ nava-nītam itthaṃ
mātuḥ pramoda-bharam eva haris tanoti ||3.4.39||
English translation
The insolence of His kaiśora age:
“Kṛṣṇa gave bliss to Mother Yaśodā by breaking the milk pots, scattering the yogurt, stealing the cream off the milk, breaking the churning rod and constantly throwing butter on the fire.”
