The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.38; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

सुकुमारेण पौगण्ड-वयसा सङ्गतो’प्य् असौ ।
किशोराभः सदा दास-विशेषाणां प्रभासते ॥३.४.३८॥

sukumāreṇa paugaṇḍa-vayasā saṅgato’py asau |
kiśorābhaḥ sadā dāsa-viśeṣāṇāṃ prabhāsate
||3.4.38||

English translation

“And when Kṛṣṇa is in the delicate paugaṇḍa age, He appears to be in the kaiśora age for certain types of persons in dāsya-rasa.”
