The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.37; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

नव्येन यौवनेनापि दीव्यन् गोष्ठेन्द्र-नन्दनः ।
भाति केवल-वात्सल्य-भाजां पौगण्ड-भाग् इव ॥३.४.३७॥

navyena yauvanenāpi dīvyan goṣṭhendra-nandanaḥ |
bhāti kevala-vātsalya-bhājāṃ paugaṇḍa-bhāg iva
||3.4.37||

English translation

“Though Kṛṣṇa is beautiful in the age of nava-yauvana (late kaiśora), He appears as if He were still in the paugaṇḍa age for those fixed in pure vātsalya-rasa.”
