The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.31; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

धटी फण-पडी चात्र किञ्चिद्-वन्य-विभूषणम् ।
लघु-वेत्रक-रत्नादि मण्डनं परिकीर्तितम् ॥३.४.३१॥

dhaṭī phaṇa-paḍī cātra kiñcid-vanya-vibhūṣaṇam |
laghu-vetraka-ratnādi maṇḍanaṃ parikīrtitam
||3.4.31||

English translation

“A long narrow cloth wrapped around the waist, cloth folded to resemble a serpent’s head at the front, flower ornaments and a small stick in His hand are considered the ornaments of the last part of the kaumāra age.”
