The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.24; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
तरक्षु-नख-मण्डलं नव-तमाल-पत्र-द्युतिं
शिशुं रुचिर-रोचना-कृत-तमाल-पत्र-श्रियम् ।
धृत-प्रतिसरं कटि-स्फुरित-पट्ट-सूत्र-स्रजं
व्रजेश-गृहिणी सुतं न किल वीक्ष्य तृप्तिं ययौ ॥३.४.२४॥

yathā —
tarakṣu-nakha-maṇḍalaṃ nava-tamāla-patra-dyutiṃ
śiśuṃ rucira-rocanā-kṛta-tamāla-patra-śriyam |
dhṛta-pratisaraṃ kaṭi-sphurita-paṭṭa-sūtra-srajaṃ
vrajeśa-gṛhiṇī sutaṃ na kila vīkṣya tṛptiṃ yayau
||3.4.24||

English translation

An example:
“Looking at her son possessing the complexion of a new tamāla leaf, with a tiger claw around His neck, with yellow gorocana tilaka, with a string tied around His wrist and a silk cord around His waist, Yaśoda could never satisfy her eyes.”
