The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.22; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
मुख-पुट-कृत-पादाम्भोरुहाङ्गुष्ठ-मूर्ध-
प्रचल-चरण-युग्मं पुत्रम् उत्तान-सुप्तम् ।
क्षणम् इह विरुदन्तं स्मेर-वक्त्रं क्षणं सा
तिलम् अपि विरतासीन् नेक्षितुं गोष्ठ-राज्ञी ॥३.४.२२॥

yathā —
mukha-puṭa-kṛta-pādāmbhoruhāṅguṣṭha-mūrdha-
pracala-caraṇa-yugmaṃ putram uttāna-suptam |
kṣaṇam iha virudantaṃ smera-vaktraṃ kṣaṇaṃ sā
tilam api viratāsīn nekṣituṃ goṣṭha-rājñī
||3.4.22||

English translation

An example:
“Yaśoda could not stop looking at Her son sucking His big toe, throwing His two feet in the air, lying on His back, sometimes crying and sometimes laughing.”
