The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.21; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अस्मिन् मुहुः पद-क्षेप-क्षणिके रुदित-स्मिते ।
स्वाङ्गुष्ठ-पानम् उत्तान-शयनाद्यं च चेष्टितम् ॥३.४.२१॥

asmin muhuḥ pada-kṣepa-kṣaṇike rudita-smite |
svāṅguṣṭha-pānam uttāna-śayanādyaṃ ca ceṣṭitam
||3.4.21||

English translation

Kṛṣṇa’s activities at the beginning of the kaumāra age are kicking up His legs, momentary crying or laughing, sucking His thumb and sleeping on His back.”
