The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.9; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
भूर्य्-अनुग्रह-चितेन चेतसा
लालनोत्कम् अभितः कृपाकुलम् ।
गौरवेण गुरुणा जगद्-गुरोर्
गौरवं गणम् अगण्यम् आश्रये ॥३.४.९॥

yathā —
bhūry-anugraha-citena cetasā
lālanotkam abhitaḥ kṛpākulam |
gauraveṇa guruṇā jagad-guror
gauravaṃ gaṇam agaṇyam āśraye
||3.4.9||

English translation

An example:
“I take shelter of the countless elders, full of desire to remove Kṛṣṇa’s sorrow, who are eager to care for Him, with hearts filled with great desire to protect Him, though He is the guru for the entire universe.”
