The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.112; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
आर्द्राङ्ग-स्खलद्-अच्छ-धातुषु सुहृद्-गोत्रेषु लीला-रसं
वर्षत्य् उच्छ्वसितेषु कृष्ण-मुदिरे व्यक्तं बभूवाद्भुतम् ।
या प्राग् आस्त सरस्वती द्रुतम् असौ लीनोपकण्ठ-स्थले
या नासीद् उदगाद् दृशोः पथि सदा नीरोरुधावात्र सा ॥३.३.११२॥yathā vā —
ārdrāṅga-skhalad-accha-dhātuṣu suhṛd-gotreṣu līlā-rasaṃ
varṣaty ucchvasiteṣu kṛṣṇa-mudire vyaktaṃ babhūvādbhutam |
yā prāg āsta sarasvatī drutam asau līnopakaṇṭha-sthale
yā nāsīd udagād dṛśoḥ pathi sadā nīrorudhāvātra sā ||3.3.112||
English translation
Another example:
“When the black cloud (Kṛṣṇa) sprinkled a rain of pastimes, all the mountains (cowherd friends) became wet, colored with various mineral dyes (ecstatic symptoms), becoming disheveled (breathing heavily), and revealing something astonishing. The river Sarasvatī, in charge of words, got blocked
up in the valley (throat) of the mountain (friend) and streams of water that previously were invisible began to flow continuously (from the eyes).”
