The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.106; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

विश्रम्भो गाढ-विश्वास-विशेषः यन्त्रणोज्झितः ।
एषा सख्य-रतिर् वृद्धिं गच्छन्ती प्रणयः क्रमात् ।
प्रेमा स्नेहस् तथा राग इति पञ्च-भिदोदिता ॥३.३.१०६॥

viśrambho gāḍha-viśvāsa-viśeṣaḥ yantraṇojjhitaḥ |
eṣā sakhya-ratir vṛddhiṃ gacchantī praṇayaḥ kramāt |
premā snehas tathā rāga iti pañca-bhidoditā
||3.3.106||

English translation

“Deep, familiar trust without restriction is called viśrambhara (confidence). This viṛambhara or sakhya-rati increases gradually through praṇaya, prema, sneha and rāga. Thus, sakhya-rati has five types.”
