The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.96; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:

वन्य-रत्नालङ्कारैर् माधवस्य प्रसाधनम् ।
पुरस् तौर्यत्रिकं तस्य गवां सम्भालन-क्रियाः ॥३.३.९५॥
अङ्ग-संवाहनं माल्य-गुम्फनं बीजनादयः ।
एताः साधारणा दासैर् वयस्यानां क्रिया मताः ।
पूर्वोक्तेष्व् अपराश् चात्र ज्ञेया धीरैर् यथोचितम् ॥३.३.९६॥

vanya-ratnālaṅkārair mādhavasya prasādhanam |
puras tauryatrikaṃ tasya gavāṃ sambhālana-kriyāḥ ||3.3.95||
aṅga-saṃvāhanaṃ mālya-gumphanaṃ bījanādayaḥ |
etāḥ sādhāraṇā dāsair vayasyānāṃ kriyā matāḥ |
pūrvokteṣv aparāś cātra jñeyā dhīrair yathocitam
||3.3.96||

English translation

“Decorating Kṛṣṇa with forest flowers and jeweled ornaments, singing and dancing before Kṛṣṇa, caring for the cows, massaging His body, fanning Him are activities that the friends share with the dāsas. Among all the anubhāvas (activities) mentioned previously, some that are suitable, though not mentioned here, are also accepted by the wise as the anubhāvas of the friends.”
