The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.76; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अत्र भङ्गी गिरां नर्म-सखैः कर्ण-कथा-रसः ।
एषु गोकुल-बालानां श्री-श्लाघेत्य्-आदि-चेष्टितम् ॥३.३.७६॥

atra bhaṅgī girāṃ narma-sakhaiḥ karṇa-kathā-rasaḥ |
eṣu gokula-bālānāṃ śrī-ślāghety-ādi-ceṣṭitam
||3.3.76||

English translation

“The activities of the late paugaṇḍa age are word play, enjoying intimate conversations with the narma-sakhas, and praising the forms of the young girls of Gokula in front of His friends.”
