The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.57; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ उद्दीपनाः —
उद्दीपना वयो-रूप-शृङ्ग-वेणु-दरा हरेः ।
विनोद-नर्म-विक्रान्ति-गुणाः प्रेष्ठ-जनास् तथा ।
राज-देवावतारादि-चेष्टानुकरणादयः ॥३.३.५७॥

atha uddīpanāḥ —
uddīpanā vayo-rūpa-śṛṅga-veṇu-darā hareḥ |
vinoda-narma-vikrānti-guṇāḥ preṣṭha-janās tathā |
rāja-devāvatārādi-ceṣṭānukaraṇādayaḥ
||3.3.57||

English translation

“The uddīpanas for preyo-rasa are the Lord’s age, His form, horn, flute, conch, sports, joking, heroism, His intimate devotees, and imitating the actions of kings and devatās.”
