The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.51; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
स्फुरद्-अतनु-तरङ्गावर्धितानल्प-वेलः
सुमधुर-रस-रूपो दुर्गमावार-पारः ।
जगति युवति-जातिर् निम्नगा त्वं समुद्रस्
तद् इयम् अघहर त्वाम् एति सर्वाध्वनैव ॥३.३.५१॥

yathā —
sphurad-atanu-taraṅgāvardhitānalpa-velaḥ
sumadhura-rasa-rūpo durgamāvāra-pāraḥ |
jagati yuvati-jātir nimnagā tvaṃ samudras
tad iyam aghahara tvām eti sarvādhvanaiva
||3.3.51||

English translation

An example:
“O killer of Agha! You are an incomparable ocean of sweet rasa, and like the high tide, You transgress all the boundaries of morality. The young women of this world are rivers filled with the waves of love. Whatever path they take, they wind up meeting You.”
