The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.41; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तस्य रूपम्, यथा —
वासः पिङ्गं बिभ्रतं शृङ्ग-पाणिं
बद्ध-स्पर्धं सौहृदान् माधवेन ।
ताम्रोष्णीषं श्याम-धामाभिरामं
श्रीदामानं दाम-भाजं भजामि ॥३.३.४१॥

tasya rūpam, yathā —
vāsaḥ piṅgaṃ bibhrataṃ śṛṅga-pāṇiṃ
baddha-spardhaṃ sauhṛdān mādhavena |
tāmroṣṇīṣaṃ śyāma-dhāmābhirāmaṃ
śrīdāmānaṃ dāma-bhājaṃ bhajāmi
||3.3.41||

English translation

Śrīdāma’s form:
“I worship Śrīdāma, with greenish-yellow cloth and dark blue complexion, holding a horn in his hand, wearing a copper-colored turban and a flower garland. Out of friendship, he competes with Kṛṣṇa.”
