The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.39; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

एषां सख्यं, यथा —
सगद्गद-पदैर् हरिं हसति को’पि वक्रोदितैः
प्रसार्य भुजयोर् युगं पुलकि कश्चिद् आश्लिष्यति ।
करेण चलता दृशौ निभृतम् एत्य रुन्धे परः
कृशाङ्गि सुखयन्त्य् अमी प्रिय-सखाः सखायं तव ॥३.३.३९॥

eṣāṃ sakhyaṃ, yathā —
sagadgada-padair hariṃ hasati ko’pi vakroditaiḥ
prasārya bhujayor yugaṃ pulaki kaścid āśliṣyati |
kareṇa calatā dṛśau nibhṛtam etya rundhe paraḥ
kṛśāṅgi sukhayanty amī priya-sakhāḥ sakhāyaṃ tava
||3.3.39||

English translation

Their friendship:
“One priya-sakha jokes using puns in a choked voice. Another embraces Kṛṣṇa with arms full of goosebumps. Another sneaks up behind Kṛṣṇa and covers His eyes with his quick hands. O thin-waisted woman! In this way the priya-sakhas give pleasure to Your friend Kṛṣṇa.”
