The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.26; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अत्र मण्डलीभद्रस्य रूपम्, यथा —
पाटल-पटल-सद्-अङ्गो लकुट-करः शेखरी शिखण्डेन ।
द्युति-मण्डली-मलि-निभां भाति दधन् मण्डलीभद्रः ॥३.३.२६॥

atra maṇḍalībhadrasya rūpam, yathā —
pāṭala-paṭala-sad-aṅgo lakuṭa-karaḥ śekharī śikhaṇḍena |
dyuti-maṇḍalī-mali-nibhāṃ bhāti dadhan maṇḍalībhadraḥ
||3.3.26||

English translation

The form of Maṇḍalībhadra:
“Maṇḍalībhadra appears with a pink cloth decorating his shining limbs, club in hand, peacock feather on his head, with the shining black complexion of a bee.”
