The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.21; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

सुहृदश् च सखायश् च तथा प्रिय-सखाः परे ।
प्रिय-नर्म-वयस्याश् चेत्य् उक्ता गोष्ठे चतुर्-विधाः ॥३.३.२१॥

suhṛdaś ca sakhāyaś ca tathā priya-sakhāḥ pare |
priya-narma-vayasyāś cety uktā goṣṭhe catur-vidhāḥ
||3.3.21||

English translation

“There are four types of friends in Gokula: suhṛt, sakha, priya-sakha and priya-narma-sakha.”
