The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.3; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र हरिः —
द्विभुजत्वादि-भाग् अत्र प्राग्वद् आलम्बनो हरिः ॥३.३.३॥

tatra hariḥ
dvibhujatvādi-bhāg atra prāgvad ālambano hariḥ
||3.3.3||

English translation

The Lord (viṣaya):
“The two-armed and four-armed forms of the Lord as previously described in prīti-bhakti-rasa are also the forms of the Lord in ālambana [of preyo-bhakti- rasa].”
