The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.158; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ अनुभावाः —
अनुभावास् तु तस्याग्रे नीचासन-निवेशनम् ।
गुरोर् वर्त्मानुसारित्वं धुरस् तस्य परिग्रहः ।
स्वैराचार-विमोक्षाद्याः शीता लाल्येषु कीर्तिताः ॥३.२.१५८॥

atha anubhāvāḥ —
anubhāvās tu tasyāgre nīcāsana-niveśanam |
guror vartmānusāritvaṃ dhuras tasya parigrahaḥ |
svairācāra-vimokṣādyāḥ śītā lālyeṣu kīrtitāḥ ||3.2.158||

English translation

Anubhāvas:
“Sitting on a seat lower than Kṛṣṇa, following after Kṛṣṇa, following His order and giving up their own wishes are the śīta-anubhāvas of the lālyas.”
