The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.130; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र सिद्धिः —
उत्कण्ठिते हरेः प्राप्तिः सिद्धिर् इत्य् अभिधीयते ॥३.२.१३०॥

tatra siddhiḥ
utkaṇṭhite hareḥ prāptiḥ siddhir ity abhidhīyate ||3.2.130||

English translation

“Attaining the Lord after a state of great longing, not having met Him before, is called siddhi (attaining one’s desire).”
