The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.103; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
असि शशि-मुकुटाद्यैर् अप्य् अलभ्येक्षणस् त्वं
लघुर् अघहर कीटाद् अप्य् अहं कूट-कर्मा ।
इति विसदृशतापि प्रार्थने प्रार्थयामि
स्नपय कृपण-बन्धो माम् अपाङ्ग-च्छटाभिः ॥३.२.१०३॥

yathā vā —
asi śaśi-mukuṭādyair apy alabhyekṣaṇas tvaṃ
laghur aghahara kīṭād apy ahaṃ kūṭa-karmā
|
iti visadṛśatāpi prārthane prārthayāmi
snapaya kṛpaṇa-bandho mām apāṅga-cchaṭābhiḥ
||3.2.103||

English translation

Another example:
“O slayer of Agha! Even Śiva cannot see You, but I am more insignificant than an insect and full of sinful acts. Though I am unqualified for prayer, I am still praying, O friend of the fallen, that You bathe me with Your glance.”
