The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.86; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
पत्नीं रत्न-निधेः पराम् उपहरन् पूरेण बाष्पाम्भसां
रज्यन्-मञ्जुल-कण्ठ-गर्भ-लुठित-स्तोत्राक्षरोपक्रमः ।
चुम्बन् फुल्लकदम्ब-डम्बर-तुलाङ्गैः समीक्षियाच्युतं
स्तब्धो’प्य् अभ्यधिकां श्रियं प्रणमतां वृन्दाद् दधारोद्धवः ॥३.२.८६॥

yathā vā —
patnīṃ ratna-nidheḥ parām upaharan pūreṇa bāṣpāmbhasāṃ
rajyan-mañjula-kaṇṭha-garbha-luṭhita-stotrākṣaropakramaḥ
|
cumban phullakadamba-ḍambara-tulāṅgaiḥ samīkṣiyācyutaṃ
stabdho’py abhyadhikāṃ śriyaṃ praṇamatāṃ vṛndād dadhāroddhavaḥ
||3.2.86||

English translation

Another example:
“On seeing Kṛṣṇa, Uddhava offered a gift in the form of the best river of tears, and his voice choked when he began to recite prayers using attractive words and sweet tone. His body erupted in goosebumps. Being completely stunned, he radiated superiority over all other devotees.”
