The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.51; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ धीरः —
आश्रित्य प्रेयसीम् अस्य नातिसेवापरो’पि यः ।
तस्य प्रसाद-पात्रं स्यान् मुख्यं धीरः स उच्यते ॥३.२.५१॥

atha dhīraḥ —
āśritya preyasīm asya nātisevāparo’pi yaḥ |
tasya prasāda-pātraṃ syān mukhyaṃ dhīraḥ sa ucyate ||3.2.51||

English translation

“That devotee who, taking shelter of Kṛṣṇa’s dear women, though not serving Kṛṣṇa profusely, becomes a chief object of Kṛṣṇa’s mercy, id called dhīra.”
