The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.32; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

नियुक्ताः सन्त्य् अमी मन्त्र-सारथ्यादिषु कर्मसु ।
तथापि क्वाप्य् अवसरे परिचर्यां च कुर्वते ।
कौरवेषु तथा भीष्म-परीक्षिद्-विदुरादयः ॥३.२.३२॥

niyuktāḥ santy amī mantra-sārathyādiṣu karmasu |
tathāpi kvāpy avasare paricaryāṃ ca kurvate |
kauraveṣu tathā bhīṣma-parīkṣid-vidurādayaḥ ||3.2.32||

English translation

“Though they also serve as advisors, charioteers and other functionaries, at other times they act as His retinue. In the same way, among the Kuru dynasty, Bhīṣma, Parīkṣit and Vidura are known as pāriṣadas.
