अथ ज्ञानि-चराः —
ये मुमुक्षां परित्यज्य हरिम् एव समाश्रिताः ।
शौनक-प्रमुखास् ते तु प्रोक्ता ज्ञानि-चराः बुधैः ॥३.२.२६॥atha jñāni-carāḥ —
ye mumukṣāṃ parityajya harim eva samāśritāḥ |
śaunaka-pramukhās te tu proktā jñāni-carāḥ budhaiḥ ||3.2.26||
English translation
Jñānī-caras:
“The sages headed by Śaunaka who gave up the desire for liberation and surrendered to the Lord are called jñāni-caras by the wise.”
