The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.22; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
केचिद् भीताः शरणम् अभितः संश्रयन्ते भवन्तं
विज्ञातार्थास् त्वद्-अनुभवतः प्रास्य केचिन् मुमुक्षाम् ।
श्रावं श्रावं तव नव-नवां माधुरीं साधु-वृन्दाद्
वृन्दारण्योत्सव किल वयं देव सेवेमहि त्वाम् ॥३.२.२२॥yathā —
kecid bhītāḥ śaraṇam abhitaḥ saṃśrayante bhavantaṃ
vijñātārthās tvad-anubhavataḥ prāsya kecin mumukṣām |
śrāvaṃ śrāvaṃ tava nava-navāṃ mādhurīṃ sādhu-vṛndād
vṛndāraṇyotsava kila vayaṃ deva sevemahi tvām ||3.2.22||
English translation
“O bliss of Vṛndāvana! O Lord! Some people who were fearful take shelter of You completely, understanding that You are the protector (śāranyas). Some, realizing that You are greater than Brahman, giving up the desire for liberation, surrender to You (jñānī-caras). However, hearing again and again about Your ever-fresh sweetness from the devotees, may we simply become engaged in service to You (sevā-niṣṭhās).”
