The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.8; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र व्रजे —
नवाम्बुधर-बन्धुरः कर-युगेन वक्त्राम्बुजे
निधाय मुरलीं स्फुरत्-पुरट-निन्दि पट्टाम्बरः ।
शिखण्ड-कृत-शेखरः शिखरिणस् तटे पर्यटन-
प्रभुर् दिवि दिवौकसो भुवि धिनोति नः किङ्करान् ॥३.२.८॥tatra vraje —
navāmbudhara-bandhuraḥ kara-yugena vaktrāmbuje
nidhāya muralīṃ sphurat-puraṭa-nindi paṭṭāmbaraḥ |
śikhaṇḍa-kṛta-śekharaḥ śikhariṇas taṭe paryaṭana-
prabhur divi divaukaso bhuvi dhinoti naḥ kiṅkarān ||3.2.8||
English translation
In Vraja:
“The form of Kṛṣṇa with the complexion of a new raincloud, holding a flute to His mouth with His two hands, wearing a yellow cloth that defeats resplendent gold, with a peacock feather crown on His head, wanders about the bank of the Yamunā near Govadhana and gives bliss to the inhabitants of Svargaloka and ourselves, His servants on this earth.”
