स्थायिनम् एके तु निर्वेद-स्थायिनं परे ।
शान्तम् एव रसं पूर्वे प्राहुर् एकम् अनेकधा ॥३.१.५०॥sthāyinam eke tu nirveda-sthāyinaṃ pare |
śāntam eva rasaṃ pūrve prāhur ekam anekadhā ||3.1.50||
English translation
“The previous scholars have described many types of śānta-rasa, saying that dhṛti or nirveda can also be the sthāyī-bhāva of śānta-rasa.”
