अथ सात्त्विकाः —
रोमाञ्च-स्वेद-कम्पाद्याः सात्त्विकाः प्रलयं विना ॥३.१.३०॥atha sāttvikāḥ —
romāñca-sveda-kampādyāḥ sāttvikāḥ pralayaṃ vinā ||3.1.30||
English translation
Sāttvika-bhāvas:
“In śānta-rasa all the sāttvika-bhāvas, such as standing of the hair on end, perspiration and shaking of the body occur, with the exception of fainting.”
