The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.128; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अपि च —
सञ्चारी स्यात् समानो वा कृष्ण-रत्याः सुहृद्-रतिः ।
अधिका पुष्यमाणा चेद् भावोल्लासा रतिः ॥२.५.१२८॥

api ca —
sañcārī syāt samāno vā kṛṣṇa-ratyāḥ suhṛd-ratiḥ |
adhikā puṣyamāṇā ced bhāvollāsā ratiḥ
||2.5.128||

English translation

Addenda:
“If the rati of the associates of Rādhā directed to Rādhā is equal to or less than their rati directed toward Kṛṣṇa, the rati directed toward Rādhā is called sañcāri-rati, nourishing the rati towards Kṛṣṇa. If the rati of the associates of Rādhā directed to Rādhā is greater than their rati directed toward Kṛṣṇa, and constantly increasing, though it is still a sañcāri-rati, it is called bhāvollāsa- rati.”
