The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.112; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

किं च —
परमानन्द-तादात्म्याद् रत्यादेर् अस्य वस्तुतः ।
रसस्य स्व-प्रकाशत्वम् अखण्डत्वं च सिध्यति ॥२.५.११२॥

kiṃ ca —
paramānanda-tādātmyād ratyāder asya vastutaḥ |
rasasya sva-prakāśatvam akhaṇḍatvaṃ ca sidhyati
||2.5.112||

English translation

“Because rati and the other elements are nondifferent from the hlādinī-śakti, rasa is also self-revealing and consists only of rasa.”
