The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.109; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

वियोगे त्व् अद्भुतानन्द-विवर्तत्वं दधत्य् अपि ।
तनोत्य् एषा प्रगाढार्ति-भराभासत्वम् ऊर्जिता ॥२.५.१०९॥

viyoge tv adbhutānanda-vivartatvaṃ dadhaty api |
tanoty eṣā pragāḍhārti-bharābhāsatvam ūrjitā
||2.5.109||

English translation

“This rati develops its full form of rasa in separation in astonishing bliss, and since it does not give up this form at all, any suffering is an appearance only.”
