The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.64; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:

एवं पूर्वोक्तवत्-सिद्धं विदुः क्रोध-रतिं बुधाः ।
द्विधासौ कृष्ण-तद्-वैरि-भावत्वेन कीर्तिता ॥२.५.६४॥

evaṃ pūrvoktavat-siddhaṃ viduḥ krodha-ratiṃ budhāḥ |
dvidhāsau kṛṣṇa-tad-vairi-bhāvatvena kīrtitā
||2.5.64||

English translation

Krodha-rati arises from krodha in the same way as hāsa-rati arises from hāsa. It has two types: where the stimulus for krodha is Kṛṣṇa and where the stimulus is the enemy of Kṛṣṇa.”
