The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.59; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
कालिन्दी-तट-भुवि पत्र-शृङ्ग-वंशी
निक्वाणैर् इह मुखरी-कृताम्बरायाम् ।
विस्फूर्जन्न् अघ-दमनेन योद्धु-कामः
श्रीदामा परिकरम् उद्भटं बबन्ध ॥२.५.५९॥

yathā —
kālindī-taṭa-bhuvi patra-śṛṅga-vaṃśī
nikvāṇair iha mukharī-kṛtāmbarāyām |
visphūrjann agha-damanena yoddhu-kāmaḥ
śrīdāmā parikaram udbhaṭaṃ babandha
||2.5.59||

English translation

An example:
“When the air resounded with the sound of the flute, horn and patra (blades of grass) on the bank of the Yamunā, Śrīdāma, desiring to fight with Kṛṣṇa,began roaring and bound up his waist tightly.”
