सप्त हासादयस् त्व् एते तैस् तैर् नीताः सुपुष्टताम् ।
भक्तेषु स्थायितां यान्तो रुचिर् एभ्यो वितन्वते ॥२.५.५०॥sapta hāsādayas tv ete tais tair nītāḥ supuṣṭatām |
bhakteṣu sthāyitāṃ yānto rucir ebhyo vitanvate ||2.5.50||
English translation
“The seven secondary emotions, being nourished greatly by vibhāvas, anubhāvas, sāttvika-bhāvas and vyabhicārī-bhāvas, take up the status of sthāyī-bhāvas in the devotees and produce a taste in the devotees.”
