The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.13; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यदा यादृशी भक्ते स्याद् आसक्तिस् तादृशं तदा ।
रूपं स्फटिकवद् धत्ते स्वच्छासौ तेन कीर्तिता ॥२.५.१३॥

yadā yādṛśī bhakte syād āsaktis tādṛśaṃ tadā |
rūpaṃ sphaṭikavad dhatte svacchāsau tena kīrtitā
||2.5.13||

English translation

“When a devotee’s rati, like clear crystal, becomes similar in form to that of a devotee to whom he is attached, it is called svaccha-rati.”
