The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.11; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
त्रि-वर्षा बालिका सेयं वर्षीयसि समीक्ष्यताम् ।
या पुरः कृष्णम् आलोक्य हुङ्कुर्वत्य् अभिधावति ॥२.५.११॥

yathā vā —
tri-varṣā bālikā seyaṃ varṣīyasi samīkṣyatām |
yā puraḥ kṛṣṇam ālokya huṅkurvaty abhidhāvati
||2.5.11||

English translation

Another example:
“O old woman! See that child, just three years old, who on seeing Kṛṣṇa in front of her, is running after Him and calling out.”
