अथ परार्था —
अविरुद्धं विरुद्धं च सङ्कुचन्ती स्वयं रतिः ।
या भावम् अनुगृह्णाति सा परार्था निगद्यते ॥२.५.५॥atha parārthā —
aviruddhaṃ viruddhaṃ ca saṅkucantī svayaṃ ratiḥ |
yā bhāvam anugṛhṇāti sā parārthā nigadyate ||2.5.5||
English translation
“The same primary rati that restricting itself, accepts both non-contradictory and contradictory bhāvas (which then become prominent) is called parārtha (nourishing the other bhāvas).”
