कोमलं च त्रिधैवोक्तं मदनं नवनीतकम् ।
अमृतं चेति भावो’त्र प्रायः सूर्यातपायते ॥२.४.२६६॥komalaṃ ca tridhaivoktaṃ madanaṃ navanītakam |
amṛtaṃ ceti bhāvo’tra prāyaḥ sūryātapāyate ||2.4.266||
English translation
“Softness is of three degrees: like beeswax, butter and nectar. In relation to these, bhāva is like the heat of the sun.”
