आगन्तुकस् तु यो भावः पटादौ रक्तिमेव सः ।
तैस् तैर् विभावैर् एवायं धीयते दीप्यते’पि च ॥२.४.२५५॥āgantukas tu yo bhāvaḥ paṭādau raktimeva saḥ |
tais tair vibhāvair evāyaṃ dhīyate dīpyate’pi ca ||2.4.255||
English translation
“Just as white cloth appears red when red dye is applied to it, the incidental bhāvas become situated in the devotees by various causes and then become visible.”
