The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.214; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
लेलिह्यमानं वदनैर् ज्वलद्भिर् जगन्ति दंष्ट्रास्फुटद्-उत्तमाङ्गैः ।
अवेक्ष्य कृष्णं धृत-विश्वरूपं न स्वं विशुष्यन् स्मरति स्म जिष्णुः ॥२.४.२१४॥

yathā —
lelihyamānaṃ vadanair jvaladbhir jaganti daṃṣṭrāsphuṭad-uttamāṅgaiḥ |
avekṣya kṛṣṇaṃ dhṛta-viśvarūpaṃ na svaṃ viśuṣyan smarati sma jiṣṇuḥ
||2.4.214||

English translation

“When Arjuna saw that the universal form of Kṛṣṇa was crushing the heads of the living entities in the universe with the teeth in His shining mouths, his mouth became dry and he forgot himself.”
