The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.185; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

स्पर्शेन, यथा —
असौ पाणि-स्पर्शो मधुर-मसृणः कस्य विजयी
विशीर्यन्त्याः सौर-पुलिन-वनम् आलोक्य मम यः ।
दुरन्ताम् उद्धूय प्रसभम् अभितो वैशस-मयीं
द्रुतं मूर्च्छाम् अन्तः सखि सुख-मयीं पल्लवयति ॥२.४.१८५॥

sparśena, yathā —
asau pāṇi-sparśo madhura-masṛṇaḥ kasya vijayī
viśīryantyāḥ saura-pulina-vanam ālokya mama yaḥ |
durantām uddhūya prasabham abhito vaiśasa-mayīṃ
drutaṃ mūrcchām antaḥ sakhi sukha-mayīṃ pallavayati
||2.4.185||

English translation

Breaking moha by touch:
“O friend! Whose touch is this, that is soft, blissful and all-conquering? Seeing the bank of the Yamunā I had fainted. The touch of that hand completely removed My fainting condition, which gave Me so much suffering, by force, producing in Me a fainting condition of happiness.”
