The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.184; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

गन्धेन, यथा —
अचिरम् अघ-हरेण त्यागतः स्रस्त-गात्री
वन-भुवि शवलाङ्गी शान्त-निःश्वास-वृत्तिः ।
प्रसरति वन-माला सौरभे पश्य राधा
पुलकित-तनुर् एषा पांशु-पुञ्जाद् उदस्थात् ॥२.४.१८४॥gandhena, yathā —
aciram agha-hareṇa tyāgataḥ srasta-gātrī
vana-bhuvi śavalāṅgī śānta-niḥśvāsa-vṛttiḥ |
prasarati vana-mālā saurabhe paśya rādhā
pulakita-tanur eṣā pāṃśu-puñjād udasthāt ||2.4.184||
English translation
Arising from smell:
“Once when Kṛṣṇa disappeared from the presence of Rādhā, She lost control of Her limbs, lost Her color and lost Her breath. She fell on the forest earth. When the fragrance of Kṛṣṇa’s forest garland spread in all directions, Rādhā’s hairs stood on end by smelling the fragrance, and look—She rose from the ground.”
