The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.174; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

निसर्गेण, यथा —
अघहर तव वीर्य-प्रोषिताशेष-चिन्ताः
परिहृत-गृह-वास्तु-द्वार-बन्धानुबद्धाः ।
निज-निजम् इह रात्रौ प्राङ्गनं शोभयन्तः
सुखम् अविचलद्-अङ्गाः शेरते पश्य गोपाः ॥२.४.१७४॥

nisargeṇa, yathā —
aghahara tava vīrya-proṣitāśeṣa-cintāḥ
parihṛta-gṛha-vāstu-dvāra-bandhānubaddhāḥ |
nija-nijam iha rātrau prāṅganaṃ śobhayantaḥ
sukham avicalad-aṅgāḥ śerate paśya gopāḥ
||2.4.174||

English translation

Nidrā arising from natural urge:
“O killer of Agha! Look! Having extinguished all fears by thinking of Your exploits, the cowherd men have given up locking their doors and sleep at night in the yards of their houses without moving their limbs.”
