The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.171; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ (३१) निद्रा —
चिन्तालस्य-निसर्ग-क्लमादिभिश् चित्त-मीलनं निद्रा ।
तत्राङ्ग-भङ्ग-जृम्भा-जाड्य-श्वासाक्षि-मीलनानि स्युः ॥२.४.१७१॥

atha (31) nidrā
cintālasya-nisarga-klamādibhiś citta-mīlanaṃ nidrā |
tatrāṅga-bhaṅga-jṛmbhā-jāḍya-śvāsākṣi-mīlanāni syuḥ
||2.4.171||

English translation

“Suspension of external awareness arising from pondering, lack of energy, natural tendency and fatigue is called nidrā or sleep. In this state, rubbing the limbs, yawning, inaction, heavy breathing and closing the eyes occur.”
