The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.163; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

आदि-शब्दाद् वञ्चनाद् अपि, यथा श्री-दशमे (१०.३१.१६) —
पति-सुतान्वय-भार्तृ-बान्धवान्
अतिविलङ्घ्य ते’न्त्य् अच्युतागताः ।
गति-विदस् तवोद्गीत-मोहिताः
कितव योषितः कस् त्यजेन् निशि ॥२.४.१६३॥ādi-śabdād vañcanād api, yathā śrī-daśame (10.31.16) —
pati-sutānvaya-bhārtṛ-bāndhavān
ativilaṅghya te’nty acyutāgatāḥ |
gati-vidas tavodgīta-mohitāḥ
kitava yoṣitaḥ kas tyajen niśi ||2.4.163||
English translation
Indignation arising from being cheated, indicated by the word ādi, from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.31.17]:
“Dear Acyuta, You know very well why we have come here. Who but a cheater like You would abandon young women who come to see Him in the midle of the night, enchanted with the loud song of His flute? Just to see You, we have completely rejected our husbands, children, ancestors, brothers and other relatives.”
